(must stream over net or via iTunes on PC/Mac using Home Sharing. i do know you were making an attempt to chop prices Apple, however why not a minimum of enable native USB storage? i do know, I know: DRM.) *IR Sensor inferior to previous generation AppleTV (requires a lot of direct line of sight) *Lag before videos and podcasts begin taking part in (even when located on an area computer) *Netflix controls don't seem to be nearly as good as Roku. Infrequent keyframes makes Apple TV onerous to rewind to a certain spot. Roku will far better (and even PS3 Netflix controls are better). *Podcast controls typically get confused (screen indicates reversing at most speed, however video is truly reversing at 1x) *Doesn't precache design icons (Scrolling down through an inventory of podcasts or Netflix movies, Apple TV masses the screen with empty icons then slowly downloads them. Apple TV happens despite how long you wait before scrolling down. Sometimes, Apple TV never gets around to downloading bound icons.
