I bought this item right before HBOGo was released thus I may watch all of the HBO series' on my TV. i used to be disappointed that when HBOGo was released and that i connected my iPad two all that popped up on my TV was a HBOGO brand. Besides that Apple TV works nice, if you get movies or shows off of itunes they appear nice on the TV. i might purchase this unless you would like Apple TV specifically for HBOGo

On the iPad two, this Apple TV works specifically as described. Apple TV is easy to use, and provides glorious mirroring of no matter content is on your iPad two screen. By default, this item transfers video in 4:3 format. However, if you head to your iPad 2's settings menu, you'll simply modification this to 16:9.
